2009 sees Heacham Judo Club celebrating 25 years and the year has kicked off to a great start with two gold's and silver at the Marham Judo Club Competition and the National Closed with a gold, two silvers and two bronzes.

The Club also gained a new Assistant Junior Judo Instructor.  With the help of Neil Wells and the Round Table the Club are also getting a new set of the Gee Mats, bringing the Club into the 21st Century.

Hunstanton Lions also kindly made the Club a donation.  The Club extends a big thank all those who have  helped with fundraising and looks forward to achieving even more awards in the future.

To mark this impressive 25 years of Heacham Judo Club they held a celebratory party and presented a number of awards at the event on Saturday, 9 May 2009.  Throughout the day there was a lead up to the party with a number of on-going training sessions which all members were invited to participate in.  You can see some of the photos of the training sessions by using the link above.

Heacham Social and Sports Club sponsored and presented the Best Newcomer Award to this year's winner, Jacob Hewson, and said they hoped the Award would become an annual presentation for the Club.
