Millbridge Nursing Home is situated close to Hunstanton in a peaceful rural setting with the river Hitch running through its four acres of stunning grounds.			Originally built as a farm house, it has been serving the local community as a nursing home since 1948.

	Millbridge can provide care for 50 residents including 15 in our new coach house which provides superior single room accommodation, all with en-suite facilities, state of the art nurse call systems, and home comforts such as telephones and televisions. Care has always been a top priority at Millbridge and we cater for residential and complex care needs including enteral feeding and is audited regularly both in house and by external inspectors. In order to provide the high standards of care we think our residents need the management recruits to a high standard and provides in house and external training thereby creating knowledgeable, well trained carers.

Policies and procedures seek to reflect the ever changing aspects involved in the ongoing needs of the residents.

Residents are assessed constantly and realistic goals are set and acted upon.

Residents and relatives should feel satisfied with the standard of care received and are able to comment on any aspect of care received within the home.

Health education plays an important part in the nursing care provided.

All equipment provided is selected to ensure the safe efficient, effective provision of care with the best interest of both resident and staff in mind.

Management has frequent contact with relatives to encourage participation in care, achieving co-operation and providing feedback as to the exact needs of the resident.

Millbridge offers a full range of activities and services tailor-made to the clients individual needs.

Our full time activities co-coordinator ensures that there is a range of communal and individual activities available through the day.

Whether it is short term or a more permanent stay, Millbridge offers a level of homely comfort where holistic care is the center of all we do.
