A Walk in the Park - Sandringham Stroll 2008

The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House
will be taking steps to raise some serious cash as we step out for a sponsored walk in Sandringham Country Park and they would like people - from all walks of life - to come along and join in with the fun!

Come and join Hospice staff, volunteers, supporters and other local folk for a sponsored scenic saunter around Sandringham Country Park and the surrounding areas.

Walks of 2, 5 and 8 miles are on offer to cater for a wide range of ages and abilities.  The 2 mile walk follows the Yellow Nature Trail through the park while the slightly more energetic 5 and 8 mile walks have been specially mapped-out by Hospice supporters from the King’s Lynn Rambler’s Association.

Hospice Fundraiser Rob Cartwright is looking for as many people as possible to join in with the event from seasoned walkers to school kids, “The Hospice is always taking steps to ensure that we can provide the vital care that supports terminally-ill patients and their families when they need it most.  Because we depend on the community we serve for 85% of our funding we need as many people in Norfolk as possible to take some big steps in the right direction with us on Sunday 18 May to help us make it a great day of fun, fitness and fundraising!”

Anyone interested in joining the Stroll should contact 01485 542891 or visit www.norfolkhospice.org.uk for a sponsorship pack or to find out more
