Heacham Parish Plan
Blueprint for the Future

Letter From Marcus Liddington - October 2006

Dear Residents of Heacham

We have made a commitment to prepare a Parish Plan for Heacham and I am keen to get the process underway. The object of the plan is to have a blueprint for Heacham’s future which will form an action plan of projects and schemes to benefit us all. Pressures from within the village and outside our parish boundary make change inevitable. A Heacham plan will go someway to making sure that they are changes that we want to see.

It is my intention that as many residents as possible will be consulted in a large survey in the New Year.  I have number of Parish Councillors already on the group, but I am looking for  an additional 6 people to help steer that process to ensure that all interests of the village are represented.

Steering group members will help formulate the survey, review and report on its’ results and  be responsible for publishing the final report and action plan.

I am, therefore, holding a meeting on Monday, 16 October at the Parish Council Office from 7.30pm for anyone interested in being a member of the steering group.

Marcus Liddington
Steering Group Chairman
